Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Cube Solver mobile application ("App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App or visit our landing page. We keep the app focused on solving cubes and try to limit data collection to what is needed for ads, purchases, onboarding, support, and basic download measurement.
1. Information We Do Not Collect Directly
We do not require a user account and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, microphone, camera, or photo library access to solve a cube. Cube colors are entered manually in the App.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store settings, onboarding status, premium status, and solve-related preferences locally on your device. This local app storage is used to keep the App working smoothly between sessions.
3. Cube Solving Requests
When you request a solution, the App sends the cube facelet/color state needed to calculate the solution. This request is used to return the solving steps for that cube. Do not enter personal information into cube color fields.
4. Advertising - Google AdMob
Non-premium users may see ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers, such as advertising ID or IDFA where allowed
- IP address and approximate location
- Ad impressions, clicks, and other ad interaction data
- Device model, operating system, app version, and diagnostic information
On iOS, the App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission flow where required before accessing the advertising identifier. If you deny permission, ads may still be shown but should be less personalized.
In regions where consent is required, the App uses Google's consent tools before requesting ads. You can also manage ad personalization through your device settings and Google ad settings.

5. Advertising Mediation Partners
AdMob may mediate ads through partners configured in the App, including Meta Audience Network and AppLovin. These partners may process device identifiers, ad events, approximate location, and technical device data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted.

6. Subscriptions, Paywalls, and Purchases
We use RevenueCat to manage premium entitlement status, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and paywall-related information. RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, app user identifiers generated for purchase management, product identifiers, device information, and app usage events related to paywalls.
Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

7. Onboarding and In-App Offer Screens
The App uses an onboarding and paywall presentation service to show onboarding screens, premium offers, and purchase flows. This service may receive technical request information, SDK key, placement identifiers, entitlement status, device/app information, and interaction events needed to display those screens and measure whether they work correctly.
8. Website Download Link Tracking
Our website may route App Store and Google Play button clicks through a redirect endpoint so we can count download-button taps and see which campaign source brought a visitor. This does not use advertising cookies.
Redirect logs may include platform selected, campaign source, timestamp, IP address, user-agent, and referrer. We use this information to understand landing page performance and app store interest.
9. Premium Users
Purchasing premium removes advertising from the App. Premium users may still use RevenueCat, App Store or Google Play purchase systems, onboarding/paywall services, local device storage, and cube solving requests as described above.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where a higher age threshold applies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.
11. Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you clear it, uninstall the App, or the App replaces it during normal operation. Third-party services retain data according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data. You can manage ad tracking permissions in your device settings, adjust Google ad preferences, restore or manage purchases through App Store or Google Play, and contact the relevant third-party provider for requests involving data they control.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest changes.
